Vik Chile among Travel+Leisure´s two favorites resorts
The prestigious tourism magazine has announced the results of its annual voting. Vik Chile came in second in the Readers’ Favorite Resorts in South America of 2023 category. First place also went to a Vik resort, Playa Vik, in Uruguay.
Travel+Leisure’s World’s Best survey results were announced this week. We are very pleased to share that we placed second among Travel + Leisure Readers’ 5 Favorite Resorts in South America of 2023.
More than 165,000 readers analyzed the voting criteria – rooms, facilities, location, meals and price –before casting their votes. Vik Chile was recognized for its holistic experience, which combines art, nature, connection to sustainability and passion for hospitality in the heart of the Millahue Valley, Chile.
After winning eighth place in 2020, this year’s second place brings the team great pride.
Other members of the Vik Retreats family also made the list: Playa Vik came in first place, and Bahía Vik won fourth. Both are located in José Ignacio, Uruguay.
