VIÑA VIK TRIUMPHS AT DESCORCHADOS 2025 WITH HISTORIC SCORES

Viña VIK celebrates outstanding recognition in the 2025 edition of the prestigious Descorchados guide, solidifying its position as a leader in world-class wine production.

VIK 2021, the iconic namesake wine, achieved an impressive score of 98 points and was awarded in three major categories:

• Top Red Wines of the Year
• Best Red Blend (shared)
• Best Cachapoal Entre Cordilleras

This achievement underscores VIK’s dedication and commitment to creating exceptional wines that reflect the richness of the Millahue Valley.

Alongside the VIK 2021, several other wines from Viña VIK were celebrated for their excellence.

STONEVIK 2023, debuting with its first vintage, received 97 points and was honored with the Revelation Award, recognizing its innovation and outstanding quality, promising to establish itself as a benchmark in the wine market.

La Piu Belle 2021, with a score of 96 points, continues to enchant wine enthusiasts around the globe with its remarkable excellence and unique style.

Milla Cala 2021, receiving 95 points, reinforced its reputation as a premium choice that perfectly reflects the balance and harmony of VIK’s blends.

Meanwhile, La Piu Belle Rosé 2024 impressed with 94 points, celebrated for its vibrant freshness and refined elegance.

Finally, the VIK “A” Cabernet Franc 2022 garnered 93 points, a testament to the winery’s ability to craft wines that exhibit both depth and versatility.

These awards reflect Viña VIK’s passion and vision, and its commitment to producing high-quality, sustainable wines that express the unique identity of the Chilean terroir.

For VIK, this is an excellent way to close 2024, having also been recognized as the 2nd best vineyard in the world by the World’s Best Vineyards 2024, awarded Best Wine Hotel at the World Travel Awards 2024, and receiving 100 points from James Suckling for VIK 2021. Described as perfect, this wine not only secured the #6 spot in James Suckling’s Top 100 Wines of the World 2024 but also earned the distinction of being the highest-ranked Chilean and South American wine on the list.
