After two years of pandemic, the famous Brazilian-American steakhouse Fogo de Chão resumed its National Wine Dinner, an authentic curator of the senses that also showcased the aromas and blends of VIK.
Fogo de Chão: A dinner with the best of VIK
Fogo de Chão’s annual event, which this year included a wine-pairing dinner at all its 50 locations in the United States, was the ideal occasion for wine lovers, as each of the VIK wines were paired with a menu especially chosen by the chef, including selections such as delicious appetizers, fired-roasted cuts of meat, flavourful Wagyu, and elegant desserts, all crafted under the watchful eye and guidance of VIK sommelier Dave Pennachetti.
The VIK team, led by Alex and Carrie Vik, were at the Addison and Plano locations in Dallas, while our Chief Winemaker Cristián Vallejo was present in New York, all of whom had a unique opportunity to taste our wines: VIK, Milla Cala, La Piu Belle Rosé in addition to a four-course meal.
ATTENDEES ENJOYED AN EXCLUSIVE DINNER WITH THE BEST OF VIK
Those who attended the National Wine Dinner, in addition to tasting, were able to learn more about VIK through the screening of a video that recounts our history in the Millahue Valley.
FOGO DE CHÃO AND ITS EXQUISITE FOUR-COURSE DINNER
Fogo de Chão is a renowned Brazilian-style steakhouse (churrasquería) that was first opened in 1979 and arrived in the United States in 1997. The relationship between Fogo de Chão and VIK has always been close-knit, as VIK wines play an important part on the restaurants’ menus.
