VIK 2021 RECEIVES EXCEPTIONAL RECOGNITION IN THE TOP 100 WORLD WINES LIST BY JAMES SUCKLING
We are pleased to announce that VIK 2021, awarded an impressive 100 points by renowned wine critic James Suckling, has secured the #6 spot on the 2024 James Suckling Top 100 World Wines list, making it the best Chilean and South American wine in the ranking.
The James Suckling Top 100 World Wines list is a report on the best wines in the world for 2024, revealing interesting information about wine production and evaluation at a global level. In total, over 40,000 wines from various wine regions were reviewed, including:
Italy: Over 9,100 rated wines, standing out as the country with the largest representation.
France: Following closely with 9,000 reviewed wines, continuing its legacy of winemaking excellence.
United States: With nearly 6,800 wines, showcasing the growing influence of its wine regions.
Spain: Presented 3,800 wines for evaluation.
Argentina: With over 2,300 wines, it continues to reveal its global market potential.
Germany: Contributed 2,000 highlighted bottles.
Australia: Approximately 1,700 references were reviewed.
Chile: With nearly 1,550 evaluated wines.
Austria and New Zealand: Each reached around 800 wines.
Additionally, wines from other regions around the world were explored, including Hungary, Greece, Canada, and Uruguay, contributing diversity and richness to the global wine landscape. This report highlights the quality and variety of wines available in the market while reinforcing the importance of professional criticism and evaluation in the wine industry. Consumers can feel confident when seeking wines from these recognized regions in their quest for exceptional wine experiences.
