VIK, the best chilean winery according to World’s Best Vineyards 2023
In Spain’s Rioja Valley, the prestigious World’s Best Vineyards 2023 list named VIK the best Chilean winery and third among the 50 best wineries in the world – a historic achievement for VIK.
According to the judges, the VIK experience provides visitors a blend of avant-garde architecture, innovation and oenological work combined with technology, science and sustainability.
Efforts focused on innovation, circular economy and winemaking techniques to enhance the qualities of the terroir have earned the red blends from this Millahue winery in the Cachapoal Valley a place in the pantheon of great wines worldwide.
“We are proud of the work we have done over these 19 years, and we are certain that we will continue to focus on more unforgettable experiences for wine lovers and world travelers alike,” said the company’s Chief Executive Officer Gastón Williams after the award ceremony at the Marqués de Riscal winery in Spain.
Renowned British journalist Tim Atkin announced the award and recommended the experience to an audience of the industry’s best in a unique celebration: “The magnificent VIK.”
